Commemoration of Ukrainian Independence August 23, 2020- Live VIDEO

On Sunday, August 23, 2020, at noon, there will be a short outdoor program at the Town Hall of Union, NJ to commemorate the 29th Independence of Ukraine. The program will include the singing of the national anthems of the United States and of Ukraine, the presentation of a proclamation by the Town Council, and the raising of the Ukrainian flag. All are welcome but are reminded to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Unfortunately, there will not be any refreshments or receptions after the program has been in the past. This year’s program will be televised on the Union Township local access channel TV34. Airing times and dates will be given at a future date.
