SUMMARY:Commemoration  of Ukrainian Independence
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, August 23 2020\, at noon\, there will be a short outdoor program at the\n Town Hall of Union\, NJ to commemorate the 29th Independence of Ukraine. \nThe program will include the singing of the national anthems of the United States and of Ukraine\,\nthe presentation of a proclamation by the Town Council\, and the raising of the Ukrainian flag.\nAll are welcome but are reminded to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Unfortunately\,\nthere will not be any refreshments or receptions after the program as has been in the past.\nThis year’s program will be televised on the Union Township local access channel TV34.\nAiring times and dates will be given at a future date.\nOrganized by: Ukrainian Congress Committee of America \nAlso\, the event will be live-streamed on facebook at 	www.facebook.com/uccnj\nand our website 					www.uccnj.org. \nThe Town Hall is located at 1976 Morris Avenue\, Union\, NJ.
